Well if there ever was some crap that made it big, it was the Spice Girls.

The first time I saw them, I thought it was a talent show or something.  Then I realised they’d had a few No.1s….oh dear.

I think timing was the key – these days the silly stupid unserious-nous of the Spiceys wouldn’t wear.  Farting around like school kids, being amateur and clutzy on stage, it was very home grown, like the Pot Noodle adverts.

But anywayz, they’ve made a mint out of being unprofessional but adhering to what the market wanted.  Now it’s all about bling and showing off/confidence etc.  What a lot of….er….crap!
